My wife and I played this course on a Monday afternoon. We thought the course was a lot of fun. The course was just south of Barksdale AFB. We enjoyed watching the huge bombers fly over.

Day 38 - 100 days, 100 courses (Saturday, April 20, 2019)
I am just about to tee off on the par 3 7th hole but I have to wait because the ranger and one of the grounds crew are conversing on the green. After a minute the ranger races over to me and tells me that to my left in the reeds is an 8' alligator. "He's known to be a little aggressive, so we wanted you to be aware."
Having to turn my back to the reeds and the gator, I don't know how I hit the green but I did.
I started out at 8:30 on a totally empty golf course. I never warm up and it caught up to me. It took 3 holes to get my swing but once I had it the round went well. The course has a couple of interesting holes where you have to lay up and then have 150 - 200 yards over water into the green. Fun morning first morning in Louisiana in spite of (or is it because of) the gator sighting.
